2024 Pinot Gris
Tasting Notes
Bright and inviting aromas of green apple, pear, and citrus zest are complemented by subtle floral notes of honeysuckle and a hint of wet stone minerality. On the palate, these flavors evolve into ripe orchard fruits like white peach and Bartlett pear, balanced by lively acidity. A touch of lemon-lime and a whisper of saline minerality add complexity, leading to a clean, precise finish.
Winemaking
Crafted from 100% Pinot Gris sourced from the South Hill Vineyard, this wine reflects the unique terroir of the Columbia Gorge AVA’s cool climate and diverse soils. Aged and fermented in stainless steel for four months, the wine retains its pure fruit expression and vibrant acidity, with no influence of oak, allowing the varietal and vineyard characteristics to shine.
Food Pairing
This Pinot Gris pairs beautifully with fresh seafood, light salads, goat cheese, or dishes with citrus-based sauces. It’s also an excellent choice for sipping on its own on a warm day.
