2024 Rosé
Tasting Notes
This Rosé opens with bright and inviting aromas of wild strawberries, white peach, and watermelon rind, complemented by subtle floral notes of rose petals and a touch of citrus zest. The palate is fresh and vibrant, showcasing flavors of ripe red berries, juicy nectarine, and a hint of ruby grapefruit, with good structure and a soft, round texture, all balanced by crisp acidity. The finish is long and elegant, with lingering notes of red currant and minerality.
Winemaking
This 2024 Rosé is a harmonious field blend of 52% Tempranillo and 48% Grenache, sourced from the Sonrisa Vineyard in the Rattlesnake Hills AVA. The grapes were co-fermented in stainless steel, preserving their vibrant fruit character and freshness. Aged for four months in stainless steel, this wine showcases a clean, crisp profile with a focus on purity and balance.
Food Pairing
This Rosé is versatile and food-friendly, pairing wonderfully with dishes like grilled salmon, fresh salads with goat cheese, or Mediterranean-inspired fare such as roasted vegetables and hummus. It also shines as a delightful aperitif on its own.
