2025 Chillable Grenache
Tasting Notes
Light, lifted, and effortlessly drinkable, this Grenache opens with bright aromas of wild strawberry, raspberry, and red cherry, accented by hints of dried rose petal and white pepper. The palate is fresh and vibrant, with juicy red fruit flavors and a subtle savory edge, carried by lively acidity and a delicate structure. Served with a slight chill, the wine shows an extra layer of energy and refreshment, finishing clean and crisp.
Winemaking
Sourced from Coyote Canyon Vineyard in the Horse Heaven Hills AVA, this Grenache was crafted in a lighter, lower-alcohol style to highlight freshness and drinkability. The fruit remained on the skins for several days prior to pressing, allowing for gentle extraction of color and structure while maintaining a soft, approachable profile. The result is a pale, translucent red wine with lifted aromatics, bright acidity, and minimal weight—designed to be enjoyed slightly chilled.
Serving Suggestion
For optimal expression, chill for approximately 20 minutes before serving. The slight drop in temperature enhances the wine’s freshness, accentuates its bright fruit character, and makes it especially refreshing on warm days.
