Tasting Notes

Our first-ever multi-vineyard Cabernet blend, and it shows just how much magic happens when great

sites come together. Aromas of blackberry, cassis, and dark plum lead the way, backed by notes of

graphite and warm baking spice. On the palate, it's rich and layered, with polished tannins and a

seamless thread of black cherry, mocha, and a touch of dried herb running through the long finish. Bold,

complex, and built to show off what Columbia Valley Cabernet can really do.

Winemaking

This wine represents a new chapter for us: our first Cabernet Sauvignon built from three distinct vineyard

sites instead of just one. We brought together fruit from Coyote Canyon (50%), Red Mountain Railroad

(33%), and Elerding (17%), each contributing its own personality to the final blend—structure and depth

from Coyote Canyon, concentration and power from Red Mountain, and bright, mineral-driven fruit from

Elerding. Each lot was fermented and aged separately before blending, then returned to barrel for the

remainder of 22 months in French oak, 20% new, to bring everything into harmony without letting the

oak take over.

Food Pairing

This Cabernet was made for the table. Pour it alongside a grilled ribeye, braised short ribs, or a hearty

mushroom risotto to match its richness and structure. It also holds up beautifully to aged cheeses like

Gouda or sharp cheddar, and a dark chocolate dessert will bring out its cherry and mocha notes.
